“If you can’t believe in yourself, don’t blame the world for not believing in you “
“Great things have been often accomplished by those who were better than others in nothing except self belief and determination.”
“Believing in your dreams is hard, taking the first step is harder and crossing the finishing line no matter what is hardest.”
“Believe in yourself like you were already the champion, work like you were always the underdog”
“The only way you will ever realize your true limits is by absolutely convincing yourself that none exist.”
“Win in your mind before taking up the challenge rather than taking up the challenge then hoping you win.”
“Unbelievable things are accomplished only by those who have the courage to believe”
“Belief precedes all achievement. Only those who believe in themselves have the courage to pursue their dreams , persevere despite the innumerable obstacles they face and thus eventually emerge victorious. On the other hand, those who believe they are capable of nothing, never put in a determined effort to do something and predictably accomplish nothing.”
“Every child has a dream. Most don’t achieve it because they have their confidence crushed by the world which teaches them to “get real and grow up.” But there are some who go on to accomplish everything they ever wanted, just because they refused to learn and kept on believing. “
“To get ahead in life, your self worth has to always be higher than what others think of you. If you let your surroundings dictate your self worth, you will become a slave to them and will inevitably resign to your fate. Believe you are capable of great things and work at them with a razor sharp focus. A day will come when your achievements will make the world believe in you as much as you believed in yourself.”
“The most powerful thing in the world is not a weapon. It is a persistent belief that is so deeply engrained in your subconscious mind that it propels every decision you take in life. People possessed by such intense beliefs have the capability to change the world, for the better or worse. Because the stronger their belief and subsequent action is, the more the chances are for others to become affected by it. It can then spread like an epidemic and can change the world positively or it can destroy it completely. Choose what you believe in wisely. Do not let others brainwash you into it.”
“It does not matter if the world is not convinced about your dream, what matters is if you are. If you have the courage to believe in your dream when no one else does, eventually the world shall believe in it as well. However, unless you supplement the belief with relentless action and a never say day attitude, nothing is going to happen.”
Belief has its limits. It cannot make you do impossible things. If you believe you can swim, can you learn to swim? Yes, with time, because swimming is something that can be done by humans. But you cannot swim by jumping into an ocean with no swimming practice just by yelling that you believe you can swim! Nor can you fly without any sort of a machine, just by flapping your hands and believing you can fly. Belief can make you do things that YOU may think are impossible but are not impossible according to the laws of nature. Secondly, belief is not enough, belief needs to be supplemented with skill.
